ABOUT THE EVENT
James E. McNellie’s Public House and Fleet Feet Sports of Tulsa are pleased to present the “James E. McNellie’s Pub Run,” a race for runners and beer afficiandos alike. The rolling 4 mile course will start and finish downtown at McNellie’s Pub and wind through the historic Blue Dome, Brady, Arena, and Business Districts. But the party doesn’t end there. The race will be followed up by refreshments and entertainment. Two free beers for all participants over the age of 21, and non-alcoholic options will be available. Proceeds from the race will benefit restoration of Holy Family Cathedral, one of Tulsa’s most beautiful churches. The 4 mile race will be timed with a ChampionChip. You must wear a Chip in the event in order to be in the results. Chips will be distributed on race day near the registration area.
LOCATION AND TIMES
The race will be held Saturday afternoon November 8, 2008 at 3:00pm. The One Mile Fun Run will start at 3:10pm. Race day registration will open at 2:00pm. The start and finish will be in front of McNellie’s Pub at the corner of 1st Street and Elgin Avenue. Please park in the lot behind McNellie’s.
T-SHIRTS AND AWARDS
All entries will receive a long sleeve cotton shirt. Great awards for overall male and female winners, standard age group winners, and male and female Guinness Challenge winners.
